In the introductory social media seminar last fall I mentioned Pinterest as a social media platform to watch. I'm excited to see growing coverage of the network and growing use even while it's still in beta and invitation based.
To me it's a place to find the beauty of the web, a way to organize aesthetically, and an exploration of tastes. It reminds me of blogging in 2001.

I requested an invite, got one and forgot to set mine up. I randomly found the site using stumbleupon and it looked neat! I wonder if my invite is still good lol
Start that account up! At first I was overwhelmed by options, then too picky about what to share. Eventually there is bound to be a comfortable groove.
